This is a set of one Kapok Zafu and one Cotton Batting Zabuton meditation cushions with removable cotton twill fabric covers. The round Zafu meditation cushion is filled with Kapok (cotton-like fiber). Kapok feels soft to the touch and has a somewhat spongy feel. The cushion has a compression opening that allows air to escape. Removing any of the kapok fibers is not recommended. The Zabuton is filled 3″ thick cotton batting that is tufted in five places to prevent movement and bunching up of the batting. Both Cushions come with removable covers that can be washed. Together, the traditional Zafu and Zabuton create a comfortable sitting place for meditation and are popular with meditators all over the world.
