The Supreme Swan Wedge Meditation Cushion has been designed by both meditation and posture experts specifically for meditation. It provides unequaled support and comfort. When placed on an upright chair or Zabuton, it will put you in the perfect upright position – ready for meditation.
The cover is pure raw silk on top and pure wool beneath, materials that Paramahansa Yogananda advised will help insulate the body from earth currents while meditating. Raw silk and wool also breathe well providing long term sitting comfort. Inside is a carefully selected combination of high-density foam for support and memory foam for comfort and body temperature control. Each cushion comes with carrying handle, and a tailbone section that can be removed to relieve pressure on the coccyx. Even slight pressure on the coccyx during longer periods of sitting or meditating can cause back and neck pains. (Our coccyx / tailbone removable section, designed by posture experts, is the exact size to provide maximum relief – it should be no more than about an inch across to provide the correct support). This cushion also works well on office or desk chairs to provide a good posture, especially useful if you sit for hours in front of a computer.
